Experienced business development professional who has successfully set up agencies for new business and revenue stream success. I have worked for and partnered with a variety of agency types and sizes and learned that even though each are unique they do have a few things in common. For instance, most agencies want to direct their new business efforts proactively, determine which clients they work with and the type of work they do, ensure proper and profitable scoping, and do all of this with as little disruption to the agency as possible. The reactive, unpredictable and cash flow challenged nature of agency business development does not have to be so. I have learned the art and science of agency business development and look forward to exploring how I can help your agency prudently and sustainably direct its growth.
What new business achievements are you most proud of?
These are three of the new business achievements I'm most proud of. 1. Convincing the owner of an agency to take a chance by extending their capabilities and adding a new service offering. To this day, the service offering that I helped launch produces the largest share of revenue of any of the agency's services. 2. Developing and executing a targeted account plan then winning a six-figure engagement. 3. An agency hired me to help them break out of being perceived as a tactical production partner and instead be perceived as an experiential marketing agency.
What most excites you about new business?
Simply put, matching the right agency with the right client that produces a fruitful, long-term relationship.
